Description

Shiny green evergreen foliage becomes reddish-green in winter. Small, pinkish-white flowers. Red berries persistent in winter. Native plant of the Pacific Northwest.  Bearberry can be a suitable groundcover for dry, sandy soils.  Best growth occurs in acid soils.  Excellent for edging and rock gardens. Deer resistant.
